We Are Moving to Subscription Billing Because We Believe in the Value of What We Do.

 

The Ramage Law Group is transitioning to a subscription-based billing model — not because of frustration with how law has traditionally been billed, but because of confidence in the value we deliver. We know what our representation is worth to the families we serve. Subscription billing is how we align our interests with our clients' and remove any incentive to run up hours rather than resolve problems.

 

We still track time internally. We take efficiency seriously and we measure it. But we are looking for attorneys who understand the distinction: tracking time to understand your work and improve it is professional. Using the clock as a revenue lever is not something we do here — and it is not the culture we are building.

 

If your relationship with billing has always felt like it was pulling you away from doing right by your clients, we think you will understand immediately why we are making this change.

 

About the Firm

The Ramage Law Group is a growing, entrepreneurial firm in McKinney, Texas focused on Family Law and Special Education Law. We serve professionals navigating divorce, custody disputes, and asset division — families in the middle of some of life's hardest transitions. We also represent families of children with disabilities in special education matters across Texas. We are a technology-forward firm: we invest in legal tech, use AI tools to work more efficiently, and build systems that let us focus our energy where it matters most.

 

You'll Thrive Here If You:

•         Have 5–10 years of family law experience and can manage cases from intake through trial

•         Are licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

•         Believe the work — the outcome, the client relationship, the quality of representation — is the point

•         Are efficient because you respect clients' time and resources, not because a metric demands it

•         Take ownership of your caseload and hold yourself to a high standard

•         Are comfortable with and enthusiastic about legal technology and AI tools

•         Can navigate emotionally complex client situations with professionalism and genuine empathy

•         Want to grow with a firm that is investing in its people and its future
