What You’ll Bring:

• Active Maryland Music Therapy License (required)
• Experience working with children in educational settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and adapt therapeutic music interventions to meet students’ unique needs
• Flexibility for onsite assignments across various schools

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver evidence-based music therapy sessions for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to integrate music therapy into educational plans
• Assess student progress and document outcomes in alignment with school and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) as needed
• Serve as a resource on music therapy best practices within the school community
