Locum tenens OB Hospitalist opportunity in Redwood City, California, just south of San Francisco. Join a collaborative women's health team, provide high-quality OB/GYN care, and support a busy hospital setting with excellent specialist backup in the Bay Area healthcare corridor.
Job Details- Position: Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician / OB Hospitalist
- Setting: OB Hospitalist unit
- Location: Redwood City, California
- Schedule: 12 Hour Rotating; 24-hour in-house rotating shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- End Date: January 31, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,670 - $6,070
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active California medical license
- Active California DEA
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience in OB/GYN or hospitalist practice
- Ability to provide complete presentation materials, including an updated CV and required pre-screen documentation
- Clean background with no disclosures or malpractice issues
- Provide OB triage and GYN triage coverage in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Manage labor and delivery cases, including obstetric emergencies
- Evaluate and treat gynecologic emergencies and urgent inpatient needs
- Perform inpatient consultations as needed
- Support a collaborative care model alongside nursing teams and community OB/GYN providers
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy, team-oriented women's health environment
