Digital Marketing Account Manager

The Digital Marketing Account Manager serves as a strategic support partner for high-value client marketing accounts, ensuring a premium client experience through proactive communication, operational excellence, and revenue opportunity identification. This role works closely with Account Development and Sales leadership to support complex client needs, optimize engagement strategies, and uncover growth opportunities within established accounts. The Digital Marketing Account Manager possesses a strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and performance metrics but is not responsible for developing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, or directing channel-specific execution. Instead, this role focuses on client engagement, reporting discussions, account retention, and identifying opportunities to strengthen client partnerships. Key Responsibilities Oversee and execute high-level marketing account support, including campaign coordination, budget alignment across channels, and ensuring deliverables align with client marketing objectives and KPIs. Lead structured client engagement initiatives, including: Monthly strategic marketing reviews for clients with budgets exceeding $75,000, focused on campaign performance, channel insights, optimization opportunities, and forward-looking strategy. Collaborate closely with Channel Marketing teams (e.g., PPC, SEO, LSA, Social) and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of integrated marketing campaigns. Serve as a primary point of contact for client communications related to marketing performance, delivering timely, data-driven, and solutions-oriented updates while escalating complex strategic matters as needed. Analyze campaign performance to identify, qualify, and document upsell and cross-sell opportunities (e.g., additional channels, budget expansion, new service offerings); partner with Account Development and Sales teams to advance growth initiatives. Maintain CRM and reporting standards, ensuring all client interactions, campaign insights, and opportunities are accurately documented and actionable. Support executive-level reporting, client-facing presentations, and internal strategy discussions with clear performance analysis, insights, and marketing recommendations. Coordinate cross-functional marketing efforts to resolve performance challenges, optimize results, and deliver a seamless, high-touch client experience. Job Role: Digital Marketing Account Manager Acts as a strategic marketing partner across high-value accounts, contributing to client retention, campaign performance, and revenue growth. Demonstrates strong marketing and business acumen, with the ability to communicate performance insights and strategy to sophisticated, high-investment clients. Balances proactive client communication with internal campaign coordination to ensure consistency, efficiency, and results across all marketing channels. Reinforces a consultative, data-driven approach by identifying optimization and growth opportunities while supporting the primary account owner. Plays a key role in elevating the client experience through responsiveness, performance transparency, and strategic marketing guidance. Supports broader revenue and client success objectives by aligning day-to-day campaign execution with long-term marketing strategy and account goals. Location This is an on-site role (Monday-Friday) at our office near Hidden River Parkway (Fletcher & I-75). Hybrid and/or remote work is not available. Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment that requires normal safety precautions such as typical office or administrative work.
