As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed in Auburn, WA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $22.00/ Hour Job Schedule: Daytime Sun 10:00 PM − 06:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, surrounding property, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, sales floor areas, and/or parking areas to help deter theft, trespassing, and other concerning behavior while maintaining a professional presence. Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and/or visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and following post instructions for retail‑related incidents. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
