Sr. CNC MachinistOur Middleburg Heights, OH business unit is looking to add a 2nd Shift Sr. CNC Machinist to their team! The Sr. Machinist will performs layout, setup, operating, and tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment producing quality products.Location: Middleburg Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)Hours: Monday - Thursday 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.Salary: $30.00 - $33.00/hr, plus 2nd shift premiumPlease note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only. Criteria such as the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.We Take Care of Our PeoplePaid Time Off I 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Referral Program I Competitive Pay I Recognition I Employee Stock Purchase Plan I Inclusive & Supportive Culture *Your Challenge:Manufactures and inspects detailed parts and tools from blueprints, sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions using a variety of machining tools and equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, and other machining equipment) and using mathematical and geometrical calculations.Works from blueprints and process sheets.Writes and proves out CNC programs.Troubleshoots and diagnoses processes to eliminate variability and improve throughput.Must have the ability to take dimensional inspections and interpret the results against the provided blueprint.Responsible to verify the quality of their product and accuracy of all work.Working knowledge of shop and machine safety procedures.Must use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring tools.Must understand the basic application of various cutting tools.Flexible, self-motivated, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.Must be willing/able to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.What You Bring:CNC and manual mill/lathe experience required.High School/GED required.Mazak Turning Centers experience preferred.Thread Rolling experience preferred.Technical/Trade School preferred.Must be able to lift, push, pull 50 lbs.Experience with stainless steels and high-temperature alloys.PC skills are a plus; Lift truck experience a plus.Curtiss-Wright's Nuclear Division offers a comprehensive range of products, information systems, and services that help sustain the safe and reliable operation of nuclear, conventional, and renewable power plants throughout the world.Nova Machines BU is a global supplier of safety-related fasteners, precision components, bolting tensioning solutions and construction projects for the nuclear markets.
