Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments./ppQualifications:/ppSCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCFs geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCFs vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:/pulliHigh School diploma; OR GED./liliOne (1) year of Accounting; OR two (2) years of clerical experience; OR at least two (2) years of higher education in Accounting or Finance./li/ulpstrongAdditional Qualifications for Accounts Payable Technician II:/strong/pulliTwo (2) years of Accounting experience; OR at least three (3) years of higher education in Accounting or Finance./li/ulpstrongAdditional Qualifications for Account Payable Technician III:/strong/pulliAn Associate degree in Accounting or Business or a related field; OR equivalent training and experience./li/ulpstrongNative Preference:/strong/ppUnder P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training.
