We are seeking a Physician Scientist to join our Neuroscience and Ophthalmology Therapeutic Area Genetics (TAG) team within the Regeneron Genetics Center. In this role, you will translate human genetic evidence into actionable insights across neurological, psychiatric, ophthalmological, hearing-, and aging-related diseases, designing and interpreting large, complex genetic studies while collaborating with Genome Informatics, Analytical Genomics, Clinical Informatics, and other RGC teams.This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.When & where:Location: Tarrytown, NYWork model/flexibility: HybridDiscover your role:Apply human genetics to target discovery, indication selection, and identification of patient subgroups likely to respond to treatmentDesign, execute, and interpret genetics studies alongside human genetics scientists, bioinformaticians, and statistical geneticistsPartner with Therapeutic Area Genetics colleagues and RGC teams to deliver complex, high-quality scientific workGenerate, summarize, and present findings to internal and external audiencesLead or contribute to scientific reports and publicationsRepresent the TAG team in cross-functional initiatives across RGC and RegeneronCollaborate with external industry and academic partners in scientific consortiaThis role requires:MD or MD/PhD with a strong background in human genetics or genetic epidemiologyExperience designing and leading human genetics studies that deliver medically relevant findingsKnowledge of study designs and analyses such as GWAS, exome, or genome sequencing across cohort, case-control, or family-based studiesStrong communication skills, with the ability to present complex genetic findings to varied audiencesFamiliarity with statistical genetics applications (e.g., polygenic risk scores, quantitative trait analyses, Mendelian randomization) and programming/statistical software (e.g., Python, R) preferredExperience integrating genetics with other "omics" technologies (e.g., epigenetics, proteomics, RNA-seq) preferred#MDJobs, #MDJobsRGC, #Neurology, #Ophthalmology, #GWASDoes this sound like you?
