TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, 53916!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years. License: RN license required. Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS - AHA Only Must-Have: Ability to pass Telemetry test prior to starting. Description: Day/Evening, 12-hour shifts will primarily be from 09:00 to 21:30 or 11:00 to 23:30. Weekend rotation and every other holiday required. The unit will consider 4x12 shifts and up to 26-week assignments if the traveler is interested. Traveler will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Telemetry exam has strict passing criteria. The traveler will have two attempts to pass the exam. If the traveler fails the second attempt, they must submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course before a third attempt is assigned. Failure to pass after three attempts will result in cancellation of the assignment. Patient care will involve a variety of age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 70 patients. The unit consists of 19 rooms. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. Typical patient diagnoses include all Level 1 traumas. Barcode scanning must meet a minimum threshold to be eligible for an extension. Variable day shift hours include 06:30 to 19:00, 09:00 to 21:30, or 11:00 to 23:30. Floating to other areas as needed is required. Travelers must have a minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty they are applying for.
