Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations and meticulous examination of medical histories.

• Work synergistically with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients.
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and effectively managing surgical instruments during procedures.
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound care, thorough discharge planning, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis strongly preferred.

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
