What You'll Be Doing

As an OD Grinder Operator, you'll manufacture high-precision components while working with state-of-the-art and manual grinding equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating manual and CNC OD grinding machines
• Performing OD, ID, cylindrical, centerless, and surface grinding operations
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions
• Using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, air gauges, profilometers, and laser micrometers
• Making minor machine adjustments and offset corrections
• Performing basic machine setups and preventative maintenance
• Inspecting parts to ensure quality and tight tolerance requirements are met
• Completing inspection and production documentation
• Maintaining a safe and quality-focused work environment

• ID Grinding
• Surface Grinding
• Centerless Grinding
• Cylindrical Grinding
• Manual Grinding Operations

✔ Ability to use precision measuring tools

✔ Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications

✔ Strong attention to detail and quality

Preferred

⭐ Cylindrical grinding experience

⭐ CNC grinding experience

⭐ GD&T knowledge

⭐ Experience working with tight-tolerance machined parts

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Burbank, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $61131.20 - $77563.20/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
