Role Description The Leasing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Newark, NJ, responsible for managing the leasing process and maximizing occupancy at FOUND Study. Day-to-day tasks include conducting property tours, responding to inquiries, guiding prospective residents through applications, and preparing lease documents. The Leasing Manager oversees lease renewals, supports resident retention initiatives, and coordinates with property management to ensure a consistent and positive resident experience. The role also involves monitoring local market trends, assisting with pricing strategies, and marketing to promote available units and special offers. Regular communication with residents, internal teams, and external partners is essential for maintaining high standards of service and community engagement. Qualifications Experience with leases and lease administration, including preparing, reviewing, and managing lease documents and renewals. Knowledge of property management practices and resident retention strategies to support a stable and engaged community. Ability to perform market research to understand local demand, competitive offerings, and pricing trends. Strong customer service, communication, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse residents and partners. Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple inquiries, tours, and administrative tasks efficiently. Proficiency with basic office software and property management or CRM systems; comfort working with digital tools and reports. Prior experience in student housing, multifamily leasing, or hospitality is preferred.
