Job Summary

A well-established insurance agency in Shreveport, LA is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance & Personal Lines Account Manager to support commercial and personal lines clients in a full-time, temp-to-hire role. This opportunity is ideal for an organized insurance professional who enjoys client service, account support, policy administration, and working in a professional office environment.

The Commercial Insurance & Personal Lines Account Manager will play an important role in maintaining accurate client records, supporting policy changes, assisting with commercial and personal property insurance accounts, and delivering timely service to clients. This position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule, competitive pay based on experience, and the opportunity to join a supportive team with strong leadership, clear expectations, and a collaborative approach to serving clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day administrative and account management support for commercial and personal insurance clients.
- Follow up with clients regarding insurance needs, policy updates, changes, and service requests.
- Assist with commercial and personal property insurance accounts, including documentation and account maintenance.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate client and policy information in database and web-based systems.
- Prepare correspondence, documents, reports, and account-related materials using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Provide professional customer service, timely follow-up, and support in resolving client questions or issues.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Employment Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire.
- Location: Shreveport, LA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage commercial and personal lines account support, including client follow-up and policy administration.
- Maintain accurate insurance account records, client information, and policy documentation.
- Support client service needs, policy changes, and issue resolution in a timely and professional manner.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant insurance, account management, client service, or administrative support experience preferred.
- Previous insurance experience preferred, especially in commercial insurance or personal lines.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience entering and updating information in databases or web-based systems.
- Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and solve problems effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AMS360+ or similar insurance management software.
- Background supporting commercial property insurance or personal lines insurance accounts.
- Prior experience in an independent agency, brokerage, or insurance office environment.
