Your Responsibilities What Awaits You

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory evaluationsincluding areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and ensure proper sample preparation for testing.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory activities, mentor new staff or students, and uphold high standards in laboratory quality assurance.
• Ensure a safe, organized workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health degree and preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification as part of employment.
