Production Supervisor

We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor who can lead teams, improve processes, and champion safety, quality, and operational excellence. As a Production Supervisor you will lead hourly production employees to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, employee development, and continuous improvement while maintaining accurate production records and workforce accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach production employees to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Conduct shift safety meetings and ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Participate in daily production meetings and align operations with business objectives.
• Oversee employee training, performance management, and workforce development.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and employee engagement activities.
• Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain production documentation, 5S standards, and operational compliance.
• Approve employee time records and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Serve as the department leader in the absence of plant leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor degree in management or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• General understanding of ISO methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution.
• Lead and develop a team of production employees to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
• Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.
• Ensure safe operations by promoting and enforcing environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Monitor production performance and implement solutions that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Quickly identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain customer commitments.
• Support quality initiatives by ensuring products meet specifications and company standards.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to achieve plant objectives.

This role is a 12-hour weekend shift position working Friday through Sunday. To support a successful transition, the selected candidate will begin with approximately 6 months of training on a day-shift schedule, gaining hands-on experience and developing a strong understanding of our operations, equipment, processes, and leadership expectations before transitioning to the permanent weekend schedule. This position is part of a new weekend shift we are implementing, offering an exciting opportunity to help establish the team, shape best practices, and contribute to the success of this growing operation from the ground up.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $72,500.00 to $111,500.00 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary, depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $79,000.00 to $121,500.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
