Nurse Practitioner | Pediatrics - Critical Care Location: Rochester, NY Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 17 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Cardiac Care (Locums) Location: New York Schedule: Rotating days and nights. Typical 13 hour shifts. Assignment length: 6 to 9 months Openings: 1 Position Overview Provide inpatient critical care coverage in a pediatric cardiac intensive care environment. Serve in a primary covering provider role in a fast paced multidisciplinary setting. Comfortable managing congenital heart disease patients including complex anatomy and physiology. Clinical Scope High acuity pediatric cardiac patients including pre and post operative cardiac surgery patients, arrhythmia management, vasopressor support, pacemakers, ECMO and CRRT. Role is not primarily procedural, but ICU procedural knowledge is expected. Required Qualifications Nurse Practitioner. Active New York Registered Nurse license in good standing. Active New York Nurse Practitioner license in good standing. Current national Nurse Practitioner certification. BLS. PALS. Two years of recent Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience as an advanced practice provider. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
