A law firm seeks a Litigation Special Counsel to join the Litigation Department in Jacksonville. Duties
- Conduct legal research and draft motions.
- Argue motions in court and participate in depositions.
- Engage in mediation, arbitration, and litigation of insurance and construction claims.
- Manage a team of paralegals and support staff.
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of litigation experience.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Experience in mediation, arbitration, and trial settings.
- Proven track record in settling cases.
Education
JD from an ABA-approved law school.
Certifications
Active member of the Florida Bar.
