Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Hampton, Virginia. The facility is designed to support a range of therapeutic interventions with modern equipment and resources at your disposal. You will work a full-time schedule, Mondays through Fridays, with shifts from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Body and Spine Easing, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs, mobility levels, and functional abilities.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Continuously monitoring patient progress, documenting treatment outcomes, and adjusting therapy protocols as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Providing education and training to patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic interventions and assistive devices that support self-care and mobility.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care, attending regular meetings to discuss patient cases and outcomes.
• Staying current with industry best practices by participating in workshops and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes a diverse mix of children and adults, many of whom are recovering from sports-related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, or managing chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of diagnoses, tailoring your approach to the unique needs of each individual while helping them achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients and teamwork.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to adapt and respond flexibly to diverse patient needs and therapy outcomes.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of clinical experience is required, we welcome applications from new graduates who are eager to grow and learn within a supportive mentorship program. Experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
