Our 5,000 square feet state-of-the-art sports medicine facility is well-equipped for advanced physical therapy practices. We primarily work with patients holding private medical insurance, ensuring they receive the comprehensive care they deserve. Our experienced team comprises two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to improving the quality of life and mobility of our clients.

Work Environment

This position offers an onsite work setting, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Develop tailored care plans that leverage a variety of treatment techniques to meet patients' unique goals and needs.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the condition of patients and monitor their treatment progress effectively.
• Maintain a personalized patient load, seeing one patient per hour to ensure quality care and individualized attention.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and evidence-based interventions to optimize patient treatment outcomes.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by designing customized fitness and wellness programs that support patients in enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to create a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document each session comprehensively to maintain an accurate record of services provided and patient progress.
• Eagerly motivate and encourage patients throughout their therapy journey, thereby enhancing their commitment to recovery and rehabilitation.
• Evaluate and modify treatments based on real-time feedback and desired outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic predominantly serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, as well as athletes aiming to regain optimal performance levels. Our clientele ranges from active adults to older adults who require specialized support to improve mobility and functionality. As a Physical Therapist in our practice, you will work with a diverse patient population, enabling you to utilize your expertise to address their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with no recorded board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic physical therapy practices.
• Strong background in creating and implementing evidence-based exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, including WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Experience with a diverse patient demographic, particularly with athletes and active individuals.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, fostering collaborative relationships with co-workers and other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
