Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions designed to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and modalities, focusing not only on orthopedic challenges but also incorporating pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine elements into care.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience while contributing to the clinic's operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, conditioning programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet utilization goals while adhering to the clinic's policies and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; preference may be given to candidates with a Doctorate degree (DPT).
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, with a background in orthopedic therapy preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to educate patients clearly and compassionately.
• Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
