Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, as you will visit patients in their homes to deliver personalized therapy. Each workday will be dynamic, involving travel within the Hampton area. You will engage with interdisciplinary teams, healthcare providers, and the patient's support system, ensuring coordinated care and optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and objectives.
• Develop, implement, and continually modify individualized treatment plans to optimize functional recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, treatment protocols, and self-management strategies.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and nursing staff, to provide a seamless continuum of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs to enhance care delivery and patient education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those who have undergone surgery, sustained sports injuries, or are managing chronic conditions. You will provide care to a diverse group of individuals, addressing their unique needs based on age, culture, and specific health challenges. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits

Powerback Physical Therapy Clinic offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
