Logan Services is looking for a Service Dispatcher to join our growing HVAC and plumbing operations team in Dayton.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants a consistent Monday–Friday schedule without an early morning start . You'll work during the heart of our service day, coordinating technicians, adjusting schedules, solving real-time challenges, and helping ensure customers receive the service they need.

The Big Task

As a Service Dispatcher , you'll be the person helping keep our HVAC and plumbing service operation moving.

You'll coordinate technician schedules, optimize routes, respond to changing priorities, communicate with field teams, and help ensure customers receive timely and professional service.

Every day will be different. You'll need to think quickly, communicate clearly, and make decisions that keep both our technicians and customers taken care of.

When the schedule changes, you're the one who figures out what happens next.

What You'll Do

• Schedule HVAC and plumbing service appointments, repairs, maintenance, and return visits.
• Dispatch technicians based on availability, location, skill set, and customer needs.
• Monitor technician schedules and adjust routes throughout the day to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate emergency and priority service calls.
• Communicate with technicians, Customer Service Representatives, managers, and other departments.
• Help coordinate scheduling around parts and inventory availability.
• Keep customers informed about appointment updates and schedule changes.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and dispatch records using dispatch software and CRM systems.
• Monitor the day's workload and proactively identify scheduling challenges.
• Support daily service goals while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
• Help technicians stay productive and supported throughout their day.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can stay calm when the schedule gets complicated and find a solution quickly.

You'll be a strong fit if you have:

• Previous experience as a dispatcher, service dispatcher, scheduling coordinator, operations coordinator, customer service representative, or administrative professional is preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, home services, transportation, logistics, or field service dispatch is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Comfort using scheduling software, dispatch systems, Microsoft Office, and multiple communication platforms.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and a dependable work ethic.
• A positive attitude and collaborative, team-first mindset.
• The ability to stay focused and professional when priorities change quickly.
