Your Responsibilities

• Analyse of business and IT requirements and development of secure network concepts to offer sustainable solutions for our customers.
• Understanding of complex network, data center, WAN, cloud, and wireless LAN requirements with integrated network security.
• Participation in the account strategy for selected customers.
• Creation of designs and concepts for viable solutions in connection with economic analyses.
• Calculations and creation of offers.
• Presentation of our network performance portfolio and technology thought leadership in front of decision-makers and conducting solution workshops.
• Conducting customer workshops and customer demos.
• Positioning our product and solution portfolio as well as our high-quality consulting services with our customers.
• Building and maintaining trustful relationships with key customers and fostering close cooperation with manufacturers and customers.

What You Bring

• A technical or commercial degree or comparable training and at least 3-5 years of project and consulting experience in presales, consulting, or technical sales.
• Extensive presales experience in projects from leading network technology manufacturers; especially Cisco System (Catalyst, Nexus, Catalyst Center, ACI, SDA and Catalyst SD-WAN) or HPE Aruba (including Aruba Central and EdgeConnect) as well as Juniper Networks.
• Knowledge in the DDI environment to the manufacturers Infoblox and BlueCat is advantageous.
• Experience from projects with other network manufacturers (e.g. Arista Networks) is desirable.
• Knowledge of the latest IT technologies/trends with corresponding market and competition knowledge.
• The ability to identify, understand business and IT requirements and derive solution approaches from them or demonstrate their benefits.
• Experience in the calculation of complex service projects.
• Secure and good presentation skills as well as a confident appearance.
• Resilience, well-structured and independent working style; team capability.
• High customer orientation and communication skills as well as conviction through innovation power and responsibility.
• Willingness to travel.
• Hands-on mentality coupled with sales affinity.
• Fluent German (min B2 level) and English language skills.
