PAL OF DALLAS LLC is looking for a dependable and skilled Roadside Assistance Technician to join our day shift team in Carrollton, TX! This is a great opportunity to put your mechanical know-how to work helping drivers get back on the road safely and quickly. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and love being the hero of someone's bad day, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Respond to roadside service calls including jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, and fuel delivery
- Perform on-site vehicle assessments and provide basic mechanical assistance
- Operate towing and recovery equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate with dispatch to coordinate service calls and routing
- Maintain accurate service records and document each job completed
- Ensure service vehicle is properly stocked, maintained, and road-ready at all times
- Deliver exceptional customer service to stranded or distressed motorists
- Prior experience in roadside assistance, towing, or automotive service preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate light-duty tow trucks or service vehicles
- Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
- Physical ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
