Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol in Ellenwood, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while putting people first in every interaction.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
- Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries entering and leaving the location, verifying credentials and/or following visitor and driver check-in procedures as directed by site policies.
- Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing package handling areas, noting damaged property or unsecured access points, and communicating security-related concerns in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
