Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care. This contract position is based in the Richmond, VA area, with the work location in Mechanicsville. The selected candidate will work a week-on, week-off schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense prescription medications to patients
• Review prescriptions for safety, accuracy, and proper dosage
• Counsel patients on the use of medications and potential side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage inventory and pharmaceutical supplies

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license and registration as required by state law
• Previous experience as a Staff Pharmacist in community or hospital settings
• Strong knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during assigned shifts
• Commitment to providing outstanding patient care
