As a dedicated speech-language pathologist, you’ll have the rewarding responsibility of delivering comprehensive speech and language services to high school students. Manage your caseload, oversee student assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and provide meaningful direct therapy. Qualifications:

• Active Virginia SLP license (required)
• Previous experience with adolescent or secondary school populations preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Strong skills in student assessment, goal writing, and therapeutic intervention
• Comfortable working independently and managing priorities within a school setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for high school students
• Develop, update, and monitor IEPs for caseload students
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
• Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary meetings (compensated within contracted hours)
• Maintain clear records and progress notes
• Collaborate closely with educational staff and families
