You’ll enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule ensuring you can make a substantial impact from the first bell to the last day of school. This is a contract position, with paid travel time between sites (mileage excluded), offering professional flexibility and stability.

In this engaging role, you will:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for high school students
• Evaluate and monitor student progress to identify needs and refine support plans
• Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams and families
• Deliver direct therapeutic interventions, tailoring approaches to diverse student needs
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in a timely, organized manner
• Participate in paid administrative time and team meetings within your contracted hours
• Communicate with colleagues, families, and stakeholders to maximize student outcomes

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A valid Virginia SLP license
• Previous experience in a school setting (preferred)
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Flexibility and initiative when responding to student and school needs
• Comfort with virtual interviews (Zoom or Teams)
