AMG Specialty Hospital - Zachary is offering a $15,000 sign-on bonus* for a full time charge nurse/clinical supervisor, (RN) with ICU, 2 years LTAC or step-down experience for night shifts!

The charge nurse supervises the patient care activities performed by other RNs, LPN/LVNs, and CNAs. Communicate with physicians/CCO/staff, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Responsible for fostering a positive milieu in the hospital. Keeps CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may place facility at risk. Provides direct patient care as required based on staffing and patient acuity.

*$15,000- sign-on bonus is offered as per the terms of an employment assistance agreement with a 2-year minimum commitment.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana registered nurse licensure unencumbered.
• Acute care, med-surg, critical care or ICU experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Detailed computer knowledge.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and human relation skills.
