Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels. What You'll Need: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or RCIS certification (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting. First-time travelers will be considered. BLS required. ACLS preferred. Experience with diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures, femoral and radial access, IFR/FFR, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and temporary pacing. Familiarity with EP/Cath room workflow, hemodynamic monitoring systems (MacLab), GE C-arm imaging systems, and Epic EMR preferred. Ability to function in a 24/7, 365 STEMI program and collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams. Willingness to teach and educate others preferred. State licensure as required by Wisconsin. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital City: Oshkosh, WI Shift: 40 hours per week with a 6:30 AM start time. Department: Cardiac Cath Lab. Two rooms (1 EP/Cath room, 1 Cath Lab). Average cases per day: Approximately 4. Floating: May float between rooms within the department and pre-op area. Support: Department support includes receptionist/hu, respiratory therapy, and hospitalist coverage. The city sits on the western shore of Lake Winnebago and provides waterfront access and boating opportunities within city limits. Oshkosh is approximately 30 miles from Green Bay and 20 miles from High Cliff State Park, offering hiking trails and cliffs along Lake Winnebago. The downtown area includes the Fox River waterfront, local museums such as the Oshkosh Public Museum, and a historic theater district within a short commute. The region supports an active lifestyle with annual events like the EAA AirVenture nearby in Wittman Regional Airport (less than 5 miles), convenient commuter access via US-41 to Appleton and Green Bay, and a suburban-urban mix suited for clinicians seeking suburban living with quick drives to larger metropolitan amenities.
