This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in a school environment and is passionate about helping children across a broad age range. You’ll have the flexibility to work two days per week (16 hours total), collaborating with educators and staff to create positive outcomes for K-12th grade students.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in New York
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to provide services K-12th grade (specific student assignments TBD)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Solid knowledge of assessment, intervention, and documentation in educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students as referred
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative SLP services in alignment with student IEPs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state standards
• Provide support and resources to staff and families to enhance student communication success
