The position involves initial evaluations for approximately three students, with ongoing therapy anticipated at about one hour per week following evaluations.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Physical Therapy (PT) license in the state
• Prior experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school or educational environment
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills, particularly for school-based therapy services
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to individualized, student-centered interventions and support
• Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate developing caseload and scheduling needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for identified students
• Collaborate with educational staff to determine students’ eligibility and therapy needs
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in accordance with evaluation outcomes
• Deliver direct PT services, supporting students’ mobility, access, and participation in the school environment
• Document sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district policies
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and team discussions as appropriate
