• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 3x12s ONLY — Day/Night rotating shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Shifts may be variable; if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital, the facility will do its best to honor the preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate if necessary.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a travel contract Registered Nurse opportunity in the CVICU at a major hospital main campus. The role is a 3x12 rotating day/night assignment requiring demonstrated recent CVICU clinical experience and active licensure.

Key Responsibilities

• Work at least every other holiday as required by the facility.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; an acceptable score on both is required to continue the assignment.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated competency in CVICU patient care.
• ECG rhythm recognition.
• AHA or facility-approved BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.

Education Requirements

• PERM Ohio RN License or Compact State license in hand — required at time of submission.
• AHA or client BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required.

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferable within one location, but combined experience is accepted).
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience — travel experience will suffice.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• 3x12 rotating day/night shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM).
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered).
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered).

Important Notes

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required; failure to achieve an acceptable score may affect continuation of the assignment.
