Help Desk Technician

Responsibilities Resolve business office technical issues directly or assign tickets to the correct team Serve as a conduit between business customers and systems support employees Facilitate communication of statutorily mandated business requirements among stakeholders, customers, system administrators, and support teams Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish technical vision and analyze usability/business tradeoffs Assist with asset management and annual property inventory Deliver and assemble computer workstations and other managed assets Provide desktop support and coordinate with the IT office for technical assistance Conduct user system access reviews and audit user access Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and break down high-level information into details Facilitate system quality assurance testing Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet ticket-resolution deadlines Perform other work-related duties as required Requirements Minimum of two years working in a Help Desk ticketing system Strong analytical skills Knowledge of user account setup and security protocols Experience with ticket management systems Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to communicate technical issues, risks, and approaches to non-technical staff Strong business communication skills, verbally and in writing Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and/or implement design changes Ability to facilitate meetings Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to manage processes and provide improvement recommendations to management Ability to negotiate and resolve interpersonal conflict Ability to work productively with varied customers and stakeholders Ability to read and comprehend statutes and rules Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and communicate in an organized fashion Current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship Ability to learn and communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing Successful security background check and/or drug screening Ability to perform emergency duty before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days Must be willing to physically come into the office Core Competencies Demonstrates strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities to bridge the gap between business customers and technical teams.
