Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol Area Assessment in West Hollywood, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas by bicycle, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with the public, communicate observations, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri01:30 PM - 10:00 PMSat01:30 PM - 10:00 PMSun11:00 AM - 07:30 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, public disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of municipal buildings, public areas, parking locations, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas; assist with visitor direction and crowd-flow needs during public meetings, events, and daily operations.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors and designated site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
