About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 1 Year License: New York License Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Required Must-Have: - Must have New York license in hand. - EPIC charting experience is required. Description: Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry. Shift: 4x12 Nights from 19:00 to 07:00. Every other weekend required. Floating is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Ratio: Able to take a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med-Surg. Charting system experience required is EPIC. Unit is high volume with 26 beds. Primarily cares for patients with CHF, acute MIs, post-device care, and arrhythmias. Cares for general surgery patients including colon-rectal, ostomies, and plastic surgeries. Total staffed beds are 528. Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white. Floating is required. Must comply with background policy reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Return staff policy is 6 months. Modules may be required and will be billable for up to 5 hours.
