IT Manager

The IT Shared Services Manager is responsible for IT Asset Management (ITAM), software, hardware, vendor, and contract management. The Manager also plays a key role interfacing between all areas of the business and IT. This is an onsite position, located in Springfield, Missouri. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Manages the operations of the IT asset and inventory functions. * Manages the operations of the IT contract management process. * Minimizes IT cost through standardization and process improvement. * Oversees procurement, vendor negotiations and vendor management. * Partners with legal and procurement business teams. * Defines and enhances ITAM processes. * Manages subordinate staff supporting contract, audit, vendor, and asset management. * Liaises between IT vendors and leadership. * ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree * Certificate(s) or License(s): ITIL * Years of experience: 5+ KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: * Experience managing capital and operation IT budgets * IT procurement experience * ITIL expertise * Contract management experience * Vendor management experience * Experience defining and implementing efficient processes for vendor and contract management * IT Management experience is required TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: * Less than 10% PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Regular computer work and sitting * Occasional walking and standing * Seldom to never lifting up to 50lbs INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT: * Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
