Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to facilitate positive client outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, ensuring the safety and stability of clients during critical situations.

• Thoroughly maintain confidential client records in compliance with state and federal regulations, taking care to document progress in a timely and professional manner.

• Collaborate and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including social workers, psychiatrists, and primary care physicians, to address comprehensive client needs.

• Stay updated with ongoing licensure requirements and actively pursue continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will support primarily include couples and families facing challenges such as relationship conflicts, communication barriers, domestic issues, and emotional distress. Additionally, you will work with clients grappling with substance use disorders and those recovering from addiction. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (or a related field) from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits\n
