Contract Administrator – Construction

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Contract Administrator to join a busy construction company. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative, typing, and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Type, prepare, format, and update contracts, proposals, correspondence, and other documents
• Work directly with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal staff
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service
• Maintain contract files, customer records, and project documentation
• Enter and update information accurately in company systems
• Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel on a daily basis
• Track paperwork, deadlines, signatures, and required documentation
• Assist with scheduling and general administrative duties
• Scan, copy, file, email, and organize documents
• Follow up with customers and others regarding outstanding information or paperwork
• Assist management and project staff with administrative needs

Qualifications

• Strong typing and data-entry skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional telephone and customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Must have a sense of urgency and be able to keep work moving
• Comfortable learning new procedures and software
• Dependable, professional, and able to work well with others
• Previous administrative experience required
• Experience in construction, contracting, project administration, or a related industry is a plus
