Position Summary:

Build and Lead the Future of Fulfillment at King

King Solutions is looking for a Vice President of Fulfillment to lead and evolve our fulfillment business.

This is more than an operational leadership role. We are looking for a business and product leader who will own the Fulfillment Product, defining what we offer, how we deliver it, how technology enables it, and how we continuously improve it for our customers. The VP of Fulfillment will have responsibility for the strategy, operational execution, financial performance, technology roadmap, and scalability of King's multi client 3PL fulfillment operation.

What You'll Own

Fulfillment Product & Strategy

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for King's Fulfillment Product.
• Define our service offering, capabilities, supported workflows, customer commitments, and operating standards.
• Understand customer and market needs and translate them into new or improved capabilities.
• Partner with Sales and Client Success to ensure we are selling solutions that are operationally scalable and financially sound.
• Partner with Product & Innovation and IT to prioritize the technology and automation roadmap.
• Build a differentiated fulfillment offering that integrates with King's transportation and broader supply chain capabilities.

Operational Excellence

• Lead all fulfillment operations including receiving, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and value added services.
• Create standardized, scalable processes that reduce tribal knowledge and operational variation.
• Drive continuous improvement in service, quality, productivity, and capacity.

Business & Financial Performance

• Own the financial performance of the fulfillment operation.
• Understand profitability and cost to serve by customer, service, and workflow.
• Establish productivity measures appropriate for a complex, multi client 3PL environment.
• Balance service, quality, productivity, and profitability rather than optimizing any one measure in isolation.
• Develop capacity, labor, and investment plans that support profitable growth.

Customer Experience

• Own operational delivery against customer commitments and SLAs.
• Partner with Client Success on performance reviews, escalations, and continuous improvement.
• Understand customer needs firsthand and use those insights to shape the Fulfillment Product.
• Ensure successful operational onboarding and scaling of new customers.

Leadership

• Build and develop a high performing fulfillment leadership team.
• Create clear ownership and accountability throughout the organization.
• Develop leaders who use data, solve problems at the root cause, and own outcomes.
• Establish a culture centered on safety, customer focus, continuous improvement, and execution.

  Your Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive fulfillment, distribution, warehousing, or 3PL leadership experience.
• Strong multi client 3PL experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ownership of significant operational and financial results.
• Experience building or evolving fulfillment capabilities, not simply operating an established model.
• Strong understanding of WMS technology, automation, data, labor management and inventory control.
• Ability to connect customer needs → product capabilities → process → technology → operational execution.
• Strong financial and analytical mindset.
• Proven ability to build leaders and lead meaningful organizational change.

You think like a business owner and product leader, not simply a warehouse operator.

You are comfortable moving from the warehouse floor to a customer meeting to a technology roadmap discussion to a financial review. You use data to understand problems, build repeatable processes instead of relying on tribal knowledge, and believe technology should enable a well defined operating model.
