Construction Laborer - $140 PER DIEM in Haskell, TX

Job Description
Will work as a construction laborer on a commercial data center project by performing fire watch duties, flagging, and spotting for equipment operators. Must have OSHA 10 and willingness to get the certification. Will accept entry level candidates for this role.
Responsibilities

• Perform dedicated fire watch duties on an active data center construction site, monitoring work areas for potential fire hazards and responding according to established safety procedures.
• Assist the MEP contractor with daily site activities, including coordinating basic site logistics and supporting trades as directed.
• Conduct site cleanup tasks such as removing debris, organizing materials, and keeping walkways and work zones clear and orderly.
• Support spotting activities for equipment and vehicle movement to maintain safe distances and prevent incidents.
• Comply with all safety policies, including use of required personal protective equipment and adherence to site procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience performing fire watch duties in a construction or industrial environment.
• Ability to spot equipment and vehicles safely and support site logistics operations.
• Demonstrated experience with site cleanup, including maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working around construction equipment and tools.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and respond appropriately to potential fire or safety hazards.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness in a busy jobsite environment.
• Ability to take direction, work as part of a team, and complete tasks reliably and on time.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
