Compensation

• $65.00 per hour for direct speech-language therapy services.
• $500.00 per completed speech-language evaluation , including assessment, report writing, and participation in the eligibility/IEP meeting, as needed.
• Flexible independent contractor schedule.
• Consistent school-based caseload with opportunities for ongoing contract work.

We partner with local public charter schools to deliver high-quality special education and related services that help students achieve academic, social, emotional, and communication success.

We are seeking a Certified Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist (CF-SLP) to join our team beginning July 20, 2026. This position serves students receiving special education services through their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) at a local charter school in the District of Columbia. A CCC-SLP will be provided for mentorship/supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students referred for special education services.
• Administer standardized and informal assessments to determine eligibility and educational needs.
• Prepare timely, comprehensive evaluation reports with educationally relevant recommendations.
• Provide individualized speech-language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs.
• Develop measurable IEP goals and objectives.
• Attend eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings as the speech-language pathology representative.
• Monitor student progress and complete required progress reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, psychologists, related service providers, and families to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA, District of Columbia regulations, and school requirements.
• Manage an organized caseload while meeting evaluation and service delivery timelines.
