Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job TitleProvide required electrical/electronic and mechanical maintenance support for process machinery. Perform repairs and diagnostics to machinery, equipment and controls, as well as thermal scans and vibration analysis. Provide preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Responsible for DC servo motors, CNC control, and Fanuc robot maintenance and repairs.LocationOnsite - Hattiesburg, MSShift1st Shift - 6:30am to 2:30pm working overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays.Specific ResponsibilitiesMaintain technical competence in advancing technologyProgramming knowledge of PLCsMaintain AC/DC circuits, DC equipment and controls, single phase motors, three phase systems, power supplies and PLCsProficiently use tools and instrumentationUse power tools to repair, modify and maintain production equipmentTrack and record production downtimeTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical problemsIdentify root cause analysis through collaboration with EngineeringUnderstanding of electrical/electronic and mechanical systems supporting process machinery and equipmentKnowledge of electrical theory, schematics, controls, HMIs, PLCs and troubleshootingBasic programming of PLCsKnowledge of pumps, hydraulics and electric motors and servosKnowledge of switches, relays, photo electric sensors and lasersAssist in resolving problems with pumps, pneumatic motors and power suppliesDemonstrate and maintain a safe and respectful workplace environmentFrequent interaction with Set-ups, Team Leads, Engineering and EHSEnsure applicable product compliance requirements are upheld including but not limited to the Clean Air Act, California Code of Regulation and California Health and Safety Code.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum four years of experience in the diagnosis and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment via competent use of equipment and proceduresPreferencesAssociate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic TechnologySAP experienceApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.The Hourly range for this position is $25.00-$28.75. The specific Hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
