Maintenance TechnicianHattiesburg, MS, USA15-25 per hourFull TimeThe Sunray Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for general maintenance repair, deep cleaning, inventory, move-in/move-out, and similar responsibilities. This is a full-time position with benefits and requires a flexible schedule week-to-week including late nights, weekends and possible overtime. The company provides any needed supplies and tools for the position including hand, power and specialty tools, maintenance and cleaning supplies, dollies, ladders, etc. Travel is required to Mississippi and Louisiana.Responsibilities:Perform general maintenance repair tasks correctly, safely and by due date. General maintenance may include but is not limited to repair of fixtures or outlets, adjusting of sensors and lighting, unclogging drains, repairing or replacing faucets or other minor plumbing components, repairing or replacing locks, replacing ceiling tiles, replacing filters, sheetrock repair, touch-up painting, install shelving and doors, simple carpentry or masonry repairs, assembly as needed, maintenance troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and similar tasksComplete all assigned maintenance service requestsDeep carpet and tile cleaning on a quarterly basis as assignedQuarterly maintenance inspections as assignedFlipping, moving furniture, and deep cleaning of tenant spaces for move-out/move-inRegular cleaning and maintenance of physical condition of specific local properties as part of support staffInventory and organization of warehouseAssist with management of online maintenance systemExperience with replacing flooring, sheetrock, full painting, and similar is a plusSpecial projects or duties as assignedRequirements:The ideal candidate is positive, friendly and enthusiastic; thrives in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines, is well organized, and works well both individually as well as with other team members and tenants.
