PCB Rework Technician

Job TitleDuties:Perform PCB rework on prototype hardware including SMT component replacement and jumper wiresPerform unit mechanical assembly and disassembly as neededPerform programming of devices such as CPLD, flash, eepromSolder attach of probe tips for SI engineersMaintain record of rework performed by unit serial numberMaintain an orderly lab environmentSkills:3+ years experience in PCB rework; development lab environment preferredExcellent PCB rework skills including soldering fine pitch and 0402 SMT packageAble to follow detailed written rework instructions from engineersAble to use schematics to interpret written rework instructionsAble to use Allegro layout viewer to identify components and features on PCBExperience with networking hardware preferredPrefer familiarity with hand toolsPrefer familiarity with test equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, power suppliesPrefer ability to lift 50 poundsEducation:Technical school or equivalent industry experienceRequired Skills:PCB REWORKSOLDERINGMECHANICAL ASSEMBLYSURFACE MOUNT TECHNOLOGYAdditional Skills:PROTOTYPENETWORKINGOSCILLOSCOPEPCBPOWER SUPPLIESSCHEMATICSSMTPROTOTYPESSOLDER
