Sourcing Analyst

Job Title: Sourcing Analyst Location: Tempe, AZ Type: Contract Compensation: $50-55/hr Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Responsibilities Develop and execute commodity and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead supplier selection, supply base optimization, and spend analysis initiatives. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving performance through scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement efforts. Negotiate and manage supplier agreements to achieve optimal commercial, quality, and service outcomes. Conduct cost analyses, benchmarking, and make-versus-buy evaluations to support sourcing decisions. Identify and implement cost reduction, productivity, and value improvement initiatives. Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and emerging technologies to inform sourcing strategies. Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity. Partner with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and product development teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs. Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract management, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supplier performance management. Strong analytical, project management, and influencing skills. Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
