DataOps Lead

We’re partnering with a high‑growth, venture‑backed fintech startup that’s building a modern financial data platform from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity for a senior Data Engineer to join at an early stage and help shape the core data and infrastructure that will power analytics, financial operations, and risk decisioning at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build core data and operational systems supporting analytics and decision-making
• Develop scalable, reliable pipelines across cloud data infrastructure
• Establish best practices for data governance, security, and access control
• Partner closely with engineering and operations leaders in a small, senior‑only team
• Create documentation and standards that set the foundation for future growth

What We’re Looking For

• Deep experience in data engineering within modern cloud environments (AWS)
• Strong hands‑on expertise with tools like dbt, Terraform, and SQL‑based data modeling
• Proven ability to design production‑grade systems with reliability and security in mind
• Startup mindset: comfortable moving fast, owning outcomes, and building from scratch
• Experience supporting financial, operational, or risk‑driven data ecosystems is a plus
