Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You will be working with elementary and secondary-aged students, both in smaller group settings and as a consultant, making a real difference in the lives of children with a variety of speech and communication needs. With a weekly schedule of 35-37.5 hours, this role offers a great balance for professionals looking to immerse themselves in both service delivery and collaborative consulting.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active Illinois SLP licensure or eligibility
• Experience in educational, autism, or behavioral settings strongly preferred
• Strong collaboration and case management skills
• Ability to adapt services for varied student populations, from general education to specialized programs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in general and specialized education settings
• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, families, and support staff
• Travel among school sites within a supportive school system
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
