Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position offers the chance to work full-time (35-37.5 hours per week), delivering speech-language pathology services to diverse caseloads. The assignment spans from August 2026 through June 2027 and includes direct and consultative responsibilities.

Bring your SLP expertise to a collaborative educational team, working with students at multiple sites:

• Nettle Creek: general education, serving 5 students
• River’s Edge Academy: Emotional/Behavioral Disorders, supporting 15 students
• Saratoga Autism program: addressing the needs of 12 students, plus 3 consult cases
• Transition Learning Center: engaging with 5 students and providing consults for 6 additional individuals

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Illinois state licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver therapy for students with a range of needs
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families
• Provide both direct and consultative SLP services as assigned
• Maintain accurate case notes, progress reports, and compliance with district policies
