Step into an impactful role supporting students with diverse needs for the upcoming academic year! We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a contract position from August 2026 through June 2027. This full-time opportunity involves collaborating across a range of educational environments—general education, emotional/behavioral classrooms, autism programs, and transition-focused centers—serving students in several unique settings.

As the assigned SLP, you'll be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, making a difference in the lives of approximately 40 students across multiple programs, including general education, specialized autism classrooms, emotional and behavioral support settings, and consultative roles. The variety and scope of the caseload will allow you to hone your clinical skills while working with students of varying ages and communication needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Illinois SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• School-based experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple educational settings
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Experience with students with autism, behavioral and emotional disabilities, and general education populations is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services per IEPs and student needs
• Maintain thorough assessment, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
• Develop individualized therapy plans and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt interventions to a range of student needs, including general education, ED/BD, autism, and transition programs
